To overcome the inherent problems of the many existing transformation languages, W3C has
adopted XSL-T, a standardized language applying to structured
data.
Despite its standardization, the syntax of XSL-T may confuse, at first glance. To speed up the development process of style sheets and to avoid common misunderstandings, Xpert 2001 implements an XSL-T debugger.
The provided facilities include: setting/resetting breakpoints - at any level - of your style sheet, stepping through the style sheet as it executes. The tool also allows the user to set breakpoints in the input document to watch the tool’s behavior after a given event and in the generated output to find out what happened after a given situation.
